What the Client Needed
One of the first projects I did was to create new service page content for a pediatric therapy practice. The owner wanted the copy to be friendly and cheerful, as well as easy for parents to understand. The goals were to adhere to her brand voice while presenting her services, as well as to create educational copy that increased interest in (and desire for) those services.
My Role on the Project
In collaboration with the team at Uplift Marketing, I was in charge of creating two new service pages for this practice. This included adding copy to the home page and overall services page, for a total of 1,544 words of custom content.
My Approach to This Project
For this project, I reviewed the extensive notes and interview transcripts the Uplift Marketing team had compiled to understand this clients’ voice and brand. I also had to do research to understand what “hippotherapy” is and plan out how to explain this service to parents so that they would understand this service and its benefits. And I had to ensure the new copy I wrote matched the tone and style of the existing content on the site.

Final Outcome of the Project
My contribution helped simplify a complex topic for this client’s audience while maintaining her authentic tone. I delivered custom website content that showcased the specialized services this practice offers and emphasized the value of those services to increase interest from local parents.
